Irit Umani, the Executive Director of Trinity Center, began work in January of 2010. Ms. Umani comes to us from Berkeley, California, and she is originally from Israel. For nearly 20 years, Irit has lead organizations working with survivors of domestic violence. She has many years of professional experience serving people with needs for assistance, both as Executive Director and as Program Director. Irit says her work is based on and stems from a spiritual commitment for service. In her spare time, she keeps a practice of silent meditation and is deeply fed by being in nature, preferably with friends.

Hailing from the Midwest, Meghann Ziler joined the staff of Trinity Center as the Americorps VISTA Volunteer Coordinator in September of 2010 and has recently taken on the role of Volunteer and Communications Coordinator. Before starting at Trinity Center, Meghann studied Socio-Cultural Anthropology and Political Science through the College of Liberal Arts - Honors at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, was involved with multiple activist groups in Minneapolis, and has varied work experience in the world of non-profit advocacy. At Trinity Center, Meghann coordinates the volunteer program, website development, social media, and various aspects of community outreach. When she's not at Trinity Center, she enjoys taking care of her garden, drinking tea, reveling in amazement at year-round Farmers' Markets, and exploring the great state of Texas.

After travelling round the world, Amber Phillips has returned to Austin and joined Trinity Center to act as the Case Management Coordinator. Originally from Wardell, MO, Amber graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Arkansas. She then made the move to the University of Texas and graduated with a Master’s in Social Work having spent the final semester in Adelaide, Australia. The time spent abroad enlightened Amber to the joys of travel which lead her to pursue a social work career in London, England. Amber worked in child protection in London for 5 years before returning to Austin. Other jobs Amber has held in the past include work in schools, a Veterans hospital, and with people with developmental disabilities. In her spare time, Amber enjoys spending time with friends, scrapebooking, travelling, and being physically active.

Annie is a true local; born and raised in Austin. In 2010, she graduated with a master's degree in social work from the University of Texas. Prior to attending graduate school full time, Annie started and managed a local Austin coffee shop, Dominican Joe. Before this, she had the opportunity to travel with a team of people to Morocco to start an international school. Annie's previous social work experience includes working with incarcerated individuals, adolescents in residential facilities, survivors of sexual assault, and low-income school children. In her free time, Annie enjoys yoga and working out, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends.
