2026 Cooling Center Check-In: Here’s What’s Happened!

While many of us seek relief from the summer heat indoors, our neighbors experiencing homelessness often have nowhere to escape. Every day, extreme temperatures put their health, safety, and well-being at risk.
As temperatures continue to climb, Trinity Center is responding in a practical way. For the third consecutive summer, we've extended our hours to provide a safe, air-conditioned space where neighbors can escape the heat, rest, recharge, and access essential services.
What neighbors are saying:
"I wasn't feeling very well yesterday, and I couldn't ima
gine how much worse it would have been if I had been outside. Thank you for being here." Geneva
"Food is so good. It's different every day, and you have desserts too. I appreciate you all." Jonathan
"It's a blessing that you are here. I got to shower today, and I also sleep every time I come." Robert.
We have one more month to go, and we still need your help to keep this initiative running strong for our neighbors! Check out the opportunities below to see how you can make a difference.
